Helping navigate life's journey
The Institute of Playful Healing was originally founded by Sean P. Jennings and Aimee L. Jennings. The mission of the institute is to bring a high quality of experiential continuing education courses to fellow mental health professionals, balancing didactic discussions and experiential exercises to create a fully engaged learning environment. After ten years of Sand Tray therapy training by Dr. Theresa Kestly of the Sand Tray Institute of New Mexico, Theresa asked Sean & Aimee to take over the trainings in Florida. Since the inception of the Institute of Playful Healing, Aimee Jennings has moved on to open her own private practice. Sean continues to teach expressive arts courses and looks forward to adding new and exciting specialty 'playshops' to enhance the skills and interest of mental health professionals in the use of embodied therapies.
